Our modern, well-equipped home sits right by the sea with breathtaking mountain views, surrounded by pristine Arctic nature. Spot reindeer, otters, moose, or even whales, and watch the Northern Lights from the porch. Steps away, enjoy a panoramic sauna by the water. A traditional BBQ hut is available as an optional rental. This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Liten, koselig leilighet i et eldre hus ved sjøen. Perfekt lokasjon for fiske og turer i vakker natur. Ett soverom, bad, kjøkken og stue. Nær E6, butikker og busstopp på Løkvoll. Turløyper rett utenfor døra. Leiligheten er i vertens bolig, og befinner seg på 1. etasje. Verten bor selv i øveretasjen. Skiers and hikers! Lovely cottage in Svensby, Lyngen. Beautiful location 10 m from the sea, in the middle of the Lyngen Alps. Only 90 minutes drive from Tromsø, including a short ferry trip. Northern lights wintertimes, midnight sun summertimes. Spectacular hiking tours all year. Koselig hytte med SAUNA (badstue) 6 km nord fra Lyngseidet sentrum. Hytta er totalt 49 kvm og passer fint for 3-4 voksne eller en liten familie. Hytten inneholder : stue, toalett /dusj , kjøkken og 3 soverom. bod: inni boden er det vaskemaskin - Stor veranda hvor det er grillmuligheter å utsikt over Lyngenfjorden. ( ved eller kull er ikke lnkl. i prisen) - Hytten skal etterlates i orden og ryddig. - Brukt sengetøy å håndduker MÅ taes av og settes i skittentøyskurv.

Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
