Cliff's Cabin - authentic Montana retreat

Tucked into the woods at the end of the road just 13 minutes from the heart of town, this cabin is a treasure. Cliff built the place himself; each tree sawn on his tractor-powered sawmill. We added family antiques, new mattresses and original art (lotsa comfort and love). The covered porch is high in the trees with breathtaking views 1000 feet above the Yellowstone River. Cozy log cabin built in the 1930s, recently restored. Located in Red Lodge close to the Beartooth Pass and Yellowstone National Park. The cabin is walking distance to restaurants, the movie theater and shopping in this quaint little mountain town. Mini Moose is furnished with 1 queen sized bed and twin sized bunk beds. A small, but full-sized kitchen and outside propane BBQ are available for home cooking. The living room has small smart TV and the shower has endless supply of hot water.

Dexter Peak Cabin is located near the base of the mountains on a 25 acre parcel shared with our home but still private. Close to Livingston, Chico Hot Springs, Yellowstone River, waterfalls, hiking and fishing, and 35 minutes to Yellowstone Park. Cabin is located about 200' from owner's home but the outdoor areas are oriented away from the home and toward the mountains. Little to no traffic as we are a couple with no kids. Dexter Peak Road is a great road for walking!
