We fell in love with Hayward for the same reason so many people do: the lakes, the quiet, the slower pace, and how easy it is to feel connected to nature. The Cabin for Two sits at the end of a private road on a small wilderness lake, surrounded by county forest. Wildlife is part of daily life here. Loons call across the water, swans and other waterfowl pass through, and deer regularly move through the yard. In the warmer months, bears occasionally travel through the area.

Pets welcome! Cozy, clean, well-equipped fully furnished, 2 bedroom cottage on Lake of the Pines in the heart of the Flambeau River State Forest in Winter, WI. Direct access to ATV/snowmobile trails. We are minutes from the Tuscobia Trail, 7 min. from Winter and 5 min. from Loretta. We have seen deer, turkey, grouse and other wildlife including bugs. FYI, We do ask that guests take their trash with them. There is space to park your trailer.
