Wood floors throughout, comfortable leather furniture, king bed in master, 2 twin beds in 2nd bedroom, wifi, 55” LED TV, full size washer/dryer, stove, microwave, kitchen table w/ 6 chairs, tub/shower, full size fridge, propane grill, lawn chairs. Shampoo, soap, coffee provided. Additional twin bed available on porch (spring / summer / fall - AC on porch. Not ideal during cold weather).

This was once a one room grade school that has been converted into a cozy cabin for your enjoyment. No tv, no Wi-Fi, cell service is available. The school house cabin is located next to the Plum Creek Wildlife Management Area and 22 miles from the Niobrara River and 13 miles from Ainsworth, NE.

Two queen beds plus additional sleep space on a rollaway bed in the living room closet. A compact work desk is available in the living room and a coffee nook available in the fully functional kitchen. Valentine’s Tourist Tenure is Located right off HWY 97 on your way to Merritt Dam. We would love to host you during your time in the Heart City! Our cozy little space has all that you will need for time away and we aim to make you to feel right at home. It is located close to the Bait shop and all of the restaurants, gas stations, Scotty’s Ranchland Foods, and more. There is plenty of room on the property for parking your RV, trailer, or boat as well. We can’t wait to host you for you stay!

Halsey National Forest is just a few minutes away and many great Refuge lakes are in the area between Thedford and Valentine. Beautiful views of the sandhills and Middle Loup river going thru the property, with a small catch & release fishing pond on property. We are a mere ten minutes from the Calamus River and Calamus Lake (west end) which offers tanking, tubing, boating, and fishing. This is a birders paradise! Bald eagles, prairie chickens, and a plethora of other species to observe will be waiting out your window. Star-gazers will find our night skies free of light pollution. Nature awaits!
