Located within the gardens of the main house and accessible down a farm track, the cottage is surrounded by the stunning Perthshire Hills. It is in a perfectly central location for exploring Scotland - 15 mins from Perth and an hour's drive from Edinburgh, Glasgow and St Andrews, 2 miles from Auchterarder and only 4 miles from the world famous Gleneagles Hotel. Our home has a well equipped kitchen, fast WiFi 105mbps tested & workstation. There are plenty of local amenities too - Uphall golf course (par 69), shops, cafés, takeaways, supermarkets & cosy pubs.

Our rural location on a cycle route just outside the historic market town of Biggar brings privacy, stunning views, and great walks like Coulter Fell or Tinto. We recommend bringing a car (Biggar is a 15-minute walk away), parking is provided.

Our beautiful studio with spacious Hot Tub is close to Edinburgh Airport and only 5 miles from the West End. Perfect for enjoying all that Edinburgh offers, but with the peace and quiet of a rural location. Own transport is recommended but public transport is nearby so leaving the car and hopping a bus/tram into town is easy. Guests staying without own transport are likely best to rely on local taxi services of which there are several including UBER. Plenty countryside walking available also.

The cottage is very quiet with fine views over the forth road bridges to Fife. Free parking and access to electric car charger. Well trained Dogs are most welcome, but there is a charge. A large colourful garden, with a tennis court and croquet lawn surround the property. Eas reach of the village, bus and train station within 3 minutes to Edinburgh.

The Bothy is stylishly converted from two jold stone farm cottages into a luxurious 2 bedroom cottage. The decor is a mix between birch ply panelling and polished cement, giving it a modern Scandi/Scottish feel, yet not losing its original charm and farm history. Some of the furniture has been made from beech and cedar from our farm. With view across the River Earn and surrounding hills, this is a perfect place to come, explore, unwind and relax.
