The house dates from 1570 and is the former Dairy Farm for the Ickworth Estate. Guests can easily walk into the Park from the house. The room is on the top floor and features beams and windows on both sides. The house is 200 metres off the road, down a drive. It is situated less than three miles from the centre of Bury St Edmunds. Although we don't provide breakfast, a toaster, with bread, butter and home-made marmalade is provided as well as tea, coffee, milk and fruit juice.

Dalham is popular with hikers for its six circular walks and with cyclists for its uninterrupted gently undulating hills. Nearby are several beautiful historic small towns such as Clare, Cavendish and Lavenham as well as the renowned horse racing centre of Newmarket, university city of Cambridge and historic market town of Bury St Edmunds.

Lovely village and a very warm welcome received at the local medieval pub.
