This is the back unit of a fully-restored 1850s German home in downtown New Braunfels. The footprint became a duplex in the 1930s and we left it as such. The living room contains a "truth window" - a section where we left the original German fachwerk exposed for those who admire old homes to see some of the original settlers' handiwork. This property is right downtown - restaurants and bars are walking distance from the house. Also close to Schlitterbahn, the Comal river, and The Float In.

The bedroom has a queen bed and there is a pull out couch in the living room (pull out mattress was replaced in July 2024). The house is fenced off so you have your own private oasis! You'll be able to BBQ on those nice Texas nights too!

The Henry Haus Vacation Home is a Five Bedroom house featuring four king beds, two queen beds, and two sleeper sofas located near downtown New Braunfels and Gruene. This house features a private patio, a fully-equipped kitchen with two dining tables, and 4.5 bathrooms. This home sleeps a maximum of 16 guests.
