The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

THE FERNY HOOLET chalet with hot tub & fishery.

The Ferny Hoolet is a stunning chalet that embraces nature & is full of character. It is a wildlife oasis where you can regularly see kingfishers, woodpeckers and hear ferny hoolets from your balcony. When you are not chilling in the hot tub, you can enjoy the tranquillity of the indoor space, which has a wonderful, relaxing feel-good atmosphere. We are just 30 minutes to the Lake District and 2 miles to M6,which offers great access to explore the N.W. We allow 2 well-behaved small/medium dogs.

'Waterside Studio'

'Waterside Studio' is a well appointed apartment in an annexe to the main house, but with private access. It is situated in a quiet part of a unique village, which has a sea dock, adjacent to the Lune Estuary and canal basin on a branch arm of the Lancaster Canal. Ideal for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and anyone who likes all aspects of wildlife, boating and the sea. We are 5 m. south of the historically important University town of Lancaster. The village has a pub, village store and cafes.

Cottage on Lake Windermere: Beach, Hot Tub & Sauna

Magical, grade II listed 18th century traditional Lakeland cottage, set within 5 acres of woodlands, leading directly to private beaches on Lake Windermere. Relax in a peaceful, natural environment, ideal for friends, families, wild swimmers, cyclists, paddle boarders, hikers and for cosy evenings by the fireplace. Separately charged are a luxurious hot tub, perfect after a hard days hike and a wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower. A tuck shop, art classes and treatments are also available.

There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

Kingfisher Lodge, 30 Yealands

Yealands is a fairly new site surrounded by planted trees with water features for the local ducks and other water fowl. We are opposite the main village where the restaurant, gym and pool are located. The Yealands is a quieter site, perfect for relaxing after a long day visiting the many local attractions. The site is on the border of Lancashire the Yorkshire dales and the famous Lake district. Local interest brochures in lodge and at reception.

Lakeview @ Merewood Lodge

Spacious Lakeland Cottage, between Windermere and Ambleside. Relax and enjoy this traditional home, with views over Lake Windermere from the terrace. Access the Lake from across the road if you fancy a swim! I've recently switched from co-hosting this property to putting this on my own listing, hence there is limited availability at the minute. The place has had almost 5 stars for the last 5 years and as you can see I’m a superhost.

Servants Wing at Claughton Hall, Sleeps 4

The Servants Wing is situated within the the Stunning and Imposing Claughton Hall. The views from the property over the Lune Valley from an elevated hilltop position are spectacular. The Fenwick Arms gastro pub is a short 12minute walk away at the bottom of the private driveway. Whilst adjoining the main house the accommodation offers a great deal of privacy and includes a separate entrance & private outdoor area.

Ginger Hut, Lancaster

Our wooden cabin is tucked within Patty’s Barn, a family-run coastal retreat on the Morecambe Bay coast near Lancaster. Walk straight onto the coastal path from your door and enjoy wide open views and sunsets. The cabin sleeps up to 4 guests and features a cosy open-plan living space with a fire. The kitchen and bathroom facilities are fully equipped and located just a few steps away (around 10 seconds).

Eller How House - Private Regency Property & Lake

Built in 1827, this architectural gem, is nestled within 12 acres of private grounds featuring diverse woodland, gardens and an ornamental lake and bridge, just a few minutes drive from Windermere's shore, Cartmel’s world renown restaurants and the southern lakeland fells. The holiday let is situated in the west wing of the house with it’s own private garden, driveway, parking and entrance.
