Our lovely Shepherds Huts are set in the garden of our home, on the edge of the market town of Haltwhistle, Northumberland. We are an ideal base for a couple looking for a romantic retreat, or friends looking to explore this beautiful historic area. The interior consists of a triple bunkbed, fully equipped kitchenette, TV, comfy seating and a woodburner. Another room in the hut has a toilet and shower. Dine alfresco on decking outside, or cosy up to the stove after a day of exploring. Joy!

Jessie's Hut

Set on a working sheep farm, Jessie’s Hut offers a double bed with the option of a single bunk above, giving a 2+1 format --- we charge an additional £10 per night for the bunk, this is added automatically when you book for 3 people. There is a shower room and a kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Fully insulated with central heating the hut is cosy warm at any time of year. Nearby:- Beamish Museum (must see!!), Roman Wall, Durham, Kilhope Mining Museum, Metro Centre.

Lake Windermere unique campervan pet friendly

Our Grey 2018 VW T6 Transporter named Grizedale is the perfect campervan for exploring the Lake District and beyond. Comfortable and easy to drive on both country roads and motorways, it sleeps up to four adults with a pull-out double bed and pop-top roof bed. The pop-top also provides extra headroom for cooking and relaxing. Beautifully converted, the van includes a fridge, gas hob, sink, dining table and electric hook-up, giving you everything needed for your next adventure.

Lovingly restored 1965 Retreat with proper loo, shower, underfloor heating and Wi-Fi! King size bed with linen, towels and toiletries provided. Fully equipped for 2 . Snuggle into The Tipi and soak up the view, make suppers in the the pizza oven or BBQ or huddle around the firepit and cook over the embers. Discover the walled pond and private jetty or wander down the lane to The Pub. Magical! PS: the caravan is compact with limited headroom - the high+mighty will need to duck!

Small campervan space, Wild Oak Woods Eco-campsite

Space for small campervan parking at Wild Oak Woods Eco-campsite. Slightly loping hard standing area within the camping hut site 1km in to the wood along a forest track. Please note we have no Elsan waste disposal but you are welcome to use the compost toilet in the facilities block. This is a beautiful parking space in the wood near the facilities block where you will have joint use of the Kitchen, outside sink and use a shower. PLEASE NOTE THIS SPACE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR TENTS.

Bluebell Wood Glamping is situated in a small private woodland surrounded by farmland. With just two bell tents in the woodland, which are carefully positioned to ensure your privacy, you can enjoy a relaxing back to nature break. Enjoy the sounds and sights of nature when you stay in this unique place. Our dark skies make it the perfect spot for stargazing. Pretty fairy lights set a romantic mood for staying cosy round the firepit toasting marshmallows as the sunsets.

Camping Barn, Abbot Park Farm

Built in 2012, our slate and stone camping barns boast 6 single beds on the first floor. The ground floor space includes a dining area, kitchen area which includes a microwave, kettle, toaster, small fridge and a single electric hot plate. and a ground floor wet room. Bedding, towels, cutlery, crockery are all provided. Outside are stunning views, a picnic area and public footpaths through the farm. Breakfast is not provided can be requested at an additional cost.

Dixie Airstream Glamping in Style near Windermere

Relax in this iconic 1957 American Airstream, situated on the grounds of an 18th Century residence, conveniently located between the villages of Ings and Staveley and only 2.5 miles from Windermere. The Airstream has been permanently placed and with such benefits, a comfortable double bed, fresh running water, electricity and a plumbed-in loo. Wooden decking to the front makes an ideal space to have a BBQ or read a book.

The Hideaway Hut. (Shepherds Hut)

The Hideaway Hut was lovingly designed and hand built by me and my 77 year old dad with a precious eye for detail. Set on a beautiful acre in peaceful Norland, it has stunning valley views. This quaint, rustic hut offers a comfy double bed with fresh air dried linen for a restful night, plus a dinky kitchen, toilet and wash basin for a peaceful off grid stay. As of April 26, Airbnb fees are included in the price.
