Welcome to the self-contained wing of our family home, a converted barn in a small Oxfordshire village. Arranged over 2 floors with open plan kitchen and en-suite bathroom. If needed there is also a single sofa bed. Explore the cities of Oxford and Bath or the nearby Cotswold villages. This is ideal cycling and walking country with the Ridgeway and the Uffington White Horse close by. The village has a great pub within a two minute walk, or relax and watch the sun set in our wild-flower field.

We refurbished the house in 2019. It has lovely light and a gorgeous garden, ideal for families with young children or couples. There is table tennis. There are 3 comfortable bedrooms upstairs. The master has an ensuite shower room and there is a large family bathroom with its own shower. Downstairs there is a large open living room and kitchen with folding doors onto the garden, a front room with fireplace, a loo and laundry room. The next village has a shop and other places to eat and drink.

Ideal for sightseeing & visiting the Cotswolds & Oxfordshire & country walks.

The Old Stable provides comfortable self contained accommodation in the picturesque village of Stanford in the Vale, located in the beautiful Vale of White Horse close to the Ridgeway. We are 12 miles west of Oxford and within easy reach of the Cotswolds and River Thames. Village amenities include a pub, cafe and supermarket. The accommodation, located on two floors with private entrance, has an open plan fully equipped kitchen, dining and TV sitting area. There is an en-suite bath/shower.

If it's retail therapy Oxford (27 mins) has lot's to offer including the fabulous Bicester Village (33 mins)
