Our 2 bedroom Homestay nestled in Kumaoun Region of Uttrakahand located at Majkhali, Ranikhet ,Almora. Amidst Dense pine forest surrounded by range of Himalayas (Nanda Devi, Trishul parvat, Panchachulis) away from city hustle bustle life From heaters to speakers, this homestay has all the amenities you could ask for and more. Our challet has 2 private rooms for accommodation. Each room has a king-size double bed along with almira. The common space can also have sofa cum bed for accommodation

It's a beautiful and spacious cottage surrounded by picturesque alpine forests together with the Panchachuli Range to be seen at a distance on clear, cloudless days up in the Himalayas, lend a breathtaking view!

The homestay is located in a very peaceful location near simtola eco park. Its a two story traditional house. The kitchen, dining area, a queen size bed and bathroom is in the ground floor and a double bed is in the first. The bedroom, bathroom and kitchen have all the basic amenities. The house features beautiful view of sunrise and snow covered peaks in a distance. Located amidst the dense deodar jungle one can sit in the garden and enjoy a peaceful and relaxing time throughout the day.

This is a retreat for day dreamers, nature lovers, bird watchers. There is no TV in the house. The beautiful forest walks and spending time in nature is all you need! Vidyun's hill home in Dhamas, overlooks the snow clad Himalayan peaks of Trishul and Nanda Devi, with pine forest walks, bird watching and occasional sightings of leopard, pine martins, jackals in the forest behind the house. The house has 2 (two) "ensuite" bedrooms with private bathrooms. We do not give out the two bedrooms separately. Each bedroom is equipped to accommodate up to 3 guests. Even if a single guest books the entire cottage is kept free so u have EXCLUSIVE use.

The last 7 years have been an incredible learning experience. Since we moved to the village, the priorities have changed. There was a sense of discovery in everything we did. There were chai-filled conversations with elders and young turks and stories on how homes and communities were built. It's these learnings that led us to build these earth homes. Kumaon has been a great teacher. And we hope we've done justice to her sustainable ways.
