Lynda’s Log House. For small groups and families

The house is a genuine redwood Log house. It has a fantastic view of the distant harbour. It is 30 years old and has the old country style. You can hear different kinds of birds and sometimes kiwis at night. The house was built on an old house site so is surrounded by large established trees. You are centrally placed so you can visit the sites, East, North and West. It feels like you are away from it all but you are only 12 minutes from Kaitaia. There are approximately 20 different beaches.

Old Fashioned Stunner

Original, Kiwi, 50's family bach with its own direct access to Coopers Beach. Rumpty, but comfy, and sitting on a large private section with room for cars and a boat. The bach is very private and quiet. It has magnificent uninterrupted views across Doubtless Bay, and you can walk down to the beach via a private path through the trees in 2 minutes. The bach has a heat pump, heaters and lots of blankets so that it remains cosy at night. We think it's the perfect place for a relaxing getaway!

Studio 8 is a private studio with a stunning view of the apricot sand beaches and lagoon of beautiful Cable Bay. Relax and unwind while you take in the view of the sea all the way across the bay to the KariKari Peninsula. Come and relax in our private studio, suitable for 1 person or for a couple. There are more than 13 eateries all within 5 minutes drive away. A private walkway down to the beach. Plus the best Ice Cream shop within walking distance! Perfect location to explore the Far North.

Davinas - The Beach House

Davinas - The Beach House is the kiwi beach holiday dream, right on Coopers Beach. Get together in the spacious living, breakfast bar and dining table area, or follow the sun on the wrap-around deck. There's a full-sized kitchen with several prep areas, 5 burner hob and 2 ovens, use the BBQ, or head out to the nearby cafes and restaurants. Kayaks, bodyboards and a paddleboard are available for sea-lovers, or stay on terra-firma, building your sand-mansion in the shade of the pohutukawa trees.

A simple bach at the beach to relax and enjoy the view .Great location, awesome sunsets front verandah. Large fenced section .Sheltered bbq area out the back. Handy to Cape bus pickup. Great for families, couples or singles. Awesome spot. All beds made up and plenty of extra linen in the hotwater cupboard to help your self too. Lots of awesome walks handy.Apart from the beach Lake Ngatu is 5mins up the road with its DOC walking track around it.Also forestry/beach walks.

RJ’s on Okahu

Keep it simple at this peaceful and central location in a rural setting only minutes to town & 15 mins to Ahipara. The sleepout is attached to our garage behind our house. A studio design, it has a small fridge, microwave, jug & toaster, cutlery and crockery. The bathroom has a shower, vanity & toilet. There is a Queen bed & a large couch which can be made up to accommodate a 3rd person if needed. We have 2 dogs which we will contain and a cat.

Pams Place

A sunny 2 bedroom 2 bathroom house in the centre of town. Only 1 min drive and easy walk to the main shopping area of town. Two outside decked areas to enjoy coffee or a few drinks. Handy to all shops, restaurants and cafes, hospital, Police station and court house. Perfect place to stay for tourists or professional people. The house is fully furnished with air conditioning in the lounge and both bedrooms and ample parking.

Ahipara Surf Breaks

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). We have easy access to the property with a lock up double garage plus off street parking (even for a boat). The beach is only a short walk from the house. We live in a house on the same property so we are always available to help with any questions you have. Surfboards and boogie boards are available for use free of charge.

Studio Blak - Ahipara

Welcome to Studio Blak, a brand new self contained open planned space to kick back an unwind after a trip to Cape Reinga, a day at the beach or work away from home! Located in Ahipara, a small coastal town 15mins drive from Kaitaia. You’ll find us in a quiet, safe residential subdivision a 5min walk to the local cafe, fish n chips & dairy! A short 2 minute drive or 15min walk to the beach!

Waterfront historic Bakery cottage

Located on the shores of the tranquil Mangonui harbour with Doubtless Bay beaches very close by. She (the cottage) is cute and eclectic with spaces to sit, relax and enjoy the view and location. Its a short walk to Mangonui village shops and cafes. The covered courtyard at the rear of the property is private, furnished and with a Weber BBQ to enjoy outdoor dining.
