This charming cottage is completely unique having the old Redcastle ruin as a back drop and views of the Beauly Firth directly in front. There is an idyllic stream going through the garden and we have recently planted a wild flower meadow at the end of the garden. It has been beautifully refurbished in 2023 and we feel incredibly proud of the results. The cottage is located in the sleepy hamlet of Milton of Redcastle and really is an idyllic and very comfortable place to come and unwind.

It’s perfectly situated as a base for exploring the highlands of Scotland, the fabulous beaches and places of interest around the Moray Firth, as well as being on the doorstep of the acclaimed Malt Whisky Trail. The Highland Capital of Inverness is only 20 minutes away.

This newly built, open plan studio has a woodburning stove, great views and is ideally suited for exploration of Loch Ness, NC500 and the hills, glens and beaches of north Scotland. There are lovely walks from the door through fields and forest, and a chance to see the Northern Lights. The cabin is in a peaceful rural setting, but only 12 miles from the city of Inverness.

The property lies in the gardens of the Manse in central Tain.
