Welcome to "Cabin on Swede Hill". Our family has farmed this land since 1871. My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. Upon entering the premises, you will find a custom iron security gate requiring coded access. Stone Creek boasts 2500+ sq ft of luxury living space complete with a full kitchen, laundry, and office. Guests will have full use of the grounds including the hot tub, fire pit, and the numerous covered decks & patios. Perfect romantic getaway or multi person retreat.

Mimi's Country Cottage

Quaint, quiet and cozy cottage set in a tranquil park like setting with all the amenities of home. Ten minutes to Shades State Park and twenty minutes to Turkey Run State Park. A great place to stay for the Covered Bridge Festival. 15 minutes to Wabash College, 25 minutes to DePauw University, 45 minutes to Purdue. We live on site and our back door is approximately 600 ft. from from the Airbnb. At this time we do not allow pets. We clean the cottage in accordance with CDC guidelines.

The 270 sq ft tiny house has a queen mattress in the loft, cooking facilities including a propane cook top and gravity fed rain water (non-potable). Large windows look out over a beautiful southern Indiana holler. Camp shower & composting toilet. Cozy wood stove, fire pit, BBQ grills. Experience comfortable, tent - free camping!
