Located on the main channel of the Withlacoochee River across from the State Forest, this home offers relaxation and recreation. The home is equipped with canoes & kayaks to launch from the backyard, and bikes to enjoy the 40+ miles of paved and mountain bike trails. Come home to relax by the fireplace and enjoy the river view, hang out and fish from the river bank, lie out back in a couple hammocks, or fire up the grill. This home is a great vacation getaway for couples, families, & friends!

Rainbow River getaway - kayaks, tubes & golf cart

Unplug and Relax here...Location Location!!! 2BR 1.5 B...you are 2 blocks from the river, included is a 2 acre park ON THE RIVER with place to cook out, volleyball, launch kayaks, paddle boards or tubes. You are close to KP Hole Park where you can rent paddle boards canoes or tubes. Take the golf cart and ride to our home from the river park! Two kayaks and paddle boards incl Super convenient, nice kitchen, new appliances, Washer and dryer on site. Perfect weekend getaway or stay longer!

The Lakeside River House

The cottage lies on the banks of Lake Rousseau. This is a very interesting lake. The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. Come and enjoy the Nature Coast right from the backyard.

Enjoy using the 3 kayaks on the lake during the day, then challenge each other to a game of 8 ball at night on the billiards table. Swim and enjoy cocktails by the pool on the lanai.

Come enjoy our lakeside cottage and its fun relaxing vibe! This private home is fully fenced and features a private dock. We are pet friendly for well behaved four legged friends that enjoy traveling. We have a 14 ft canoe and 2 kayaks for you to enjoy. We do have a small gas motor you can rent for the canoe allowing you to truly explore the lakes. Bring your boat! We have a community boat ramp one street over. Only minutes to downtown Inverness! PET FEE $25 per pet paid directly to host.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. This is a perfect romantic retreat but would also be a great place to unwind on a solo journey. Sit on the shaded-open patio and enjoy the fountain and nature. Biking and hiking trails, boating, fishing, relaxing, and/or exploring are all available here. Among others, visit Rainbow River, The World Equestrian Center, Hernando Lake, and Crystal River. Dine on the water at Stumpknockers, Blue Gator, or Stumpys restaurants.

River Retreats Escape/Angler’s Paradise

Country setting, FREE use of the Kayaks and golf cart, or take the kayaks to Rainbow River, my place is on the “Withlacoochee River” so you would put in at the neighborhood ramp and paddle North to get to the Rainbow River. The KP Hole and Rainbow Springs State Park are 10-15 min away. You can bring your own boat, “there is a boat ramp in the neighborhood”, and local ramps in town. Relax by the fire in the evening. Peaceful, quiet and only 10 minutes from town for shopping and dining.

The Hernando Lake House

Relax our Lake House. The water touches the back yard and the lake is loaded with Bass and many other fish. Relax in the living room falling asleep for afternoon naps while gazing at the serenity of the water. The house is quiet and set up for some nice long weekends. The Gulf of Mexico is just 14 miles to Crystal River which has a nice local beach. Scalloping and Manatee watching and much more to do in Citrus county. Orlando and Disney are just a little over an hours drive.

The Banyon House 2br 2Ba on Canal + Kayaks

Relax with family and friends at this beautiful property. Enjoy kayaking right from the dock on the property. There is a lovely covered patio where you can enjoy meals cooked in the fully stocked kitchen. There are two bedrooms that are both en-suite. For additional sleeping there is a sleeper sofa in the lounge. We will accommodate Dogs (up to two) but NO CATS... Owner is highly allergic. There is a $75 additional pet fee per stay.
