Walkers Rest at The Hayloft - The Brecon Beacons

Nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, this recent addition to an (ex) 1800s pub is a cosy yet spacious self catering space. Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

Like fireflies, the stars gently illuminate the room at night - the perfect place for a peaceful night's sleep. Well equipped yurt with dedicated facilities. The yurt is situated in an orchard containing a selection of fruit and ornamental trees. The orchard field slopes gently to the east and enables wonderful views of the rising sun. Visitors can walk through the woodland. Abundant wildlife.

This is a great way to get back to nature. It is set in the most peaceful location in a secluded riverside setting.
