This rental is a private apartment on the lower half of a large home with it's own entrance. Guests share only the 5 park like acres of river front outdoors. There are also 2 year round streams. The suite is spacious with river and garden views. There is one large bedroom with king bed and queen murphy bed. The living room has a queen futon that folds out into a bed . This apartment is ideal for two persons or a family . Guests enjoy bird watching , fishing., swimming, and hiking. .

Fully supplied, including firewood for the wood stove and campfire, this off grid retreat has standard electrical power and outlets with ample power supplied by solar panels and an automatic start generator(monitored by us). The Trapper's Cabin

The Trapper’s Cabin is a 2 bedroom 1 bath cabin located in the heart of Gasquet, CA, conveniently situated off the 199 highway. Gasquet is 20 miles from the ocean, 10 miles from the Redwood National Forest, and sits directly on the Smith River. Come for the many adventures that the tallest trees, cleanest river, and secluded beaches have to offer, but stay for a sense of pure serenity.
