Stone School Cottage

Romantic getaway or family vacation. Charming stone building served as a one-room schoolhouse from 1832 until 1950. Beautifully situated amidst horse farms on the scenic road to Mt Greylock, centrally located midway between Williamstown and Lenox. We host lots of writers and musicians who love the bright airy space, families that have fun in this big playhouse, and couples seeking a memorable and private retreat. PLEASE NOTE: this truly-unique building has an unusual layout, described below.

The Cottage on Sylvester Street welcomes guests looking for a relaxing weekend or longer stay in a small-village setting. Located at the heart of the historic Village of Kinderhook, this stylishly renovated house is located amongst Kinderhook's collection of historic architectural gems. Within easy walking distance are eateries, wine and beer bars, The School I Jack Shainman Gallery, historic sites, the farmers' market plus farm stands, and quiet, scenic roads perfect for walking and cycling.

The Writer's Cottage

The Writer's Cottage is a tiny white house on a country road; vintage, complete, and inspiring. Built in the nineteenth century, it's perfect for a solo traveler or a pair of travelers exploring the Berkshires and the Hudson Valley. If you like rustic buildings, you'll be a fan of the cottage; it's an incredibly cozy time warp. Queen bed and living quarters downstairs; airy loft up a narrow set of enclosed stairs. There's an orchard and lawn with grill, hammock and ironwork table.

Kinderhook Creek Private Retreat

Charming home at the end of a country road on the Kinderhook Creek surrounded by fields and woods with hiking/biking trails and a very private swimming hole! HVAC and a cozy fireplace make this a comfortable year-round getaway and a wonderful place to enjoy the fall colors! Within easy drive of endless things to do and places to explore such as the quaint town of Chatham (5 min), Tanglewood (35 min), antiquing in Hudson (20 min) and good skiing too (Catamount 30 min, Butternut 45 min)!

Wildlife Lakeside Cottage; views/wildlife

Fully furnished and remodeled with new upgrades in Spring 2025 including a cathedral master bedroom suite with a full bath. Our private cottage is set on a peninsula at a cove where a trout stream enters the lake. Incredible amount of wildlife, especially all types of birds. The home has sunny views everywhere. Seasonal weeds do grow in the adjacent lake which can impact water activities, especially in the summer months. Sleeps 6. Ther are two full and one 1/2 baths.

A historic hideaway built in 1737 nestled just outside the city of Hudson. Featuring a full kitchen, spacious living room and bath on the main floor and a lofted, light-filled bedroom on the second. Enjoy evenings nestled by the wood stove, or get out and explore the four acre property. The city of Hudson is an easy 5 minute drive, take in the Hudson food and drink scene and explore the dozens of antique stores. We look forward to welcoming you!

Partially fenced in 3 miles down the road from Jiminy Peak ski resort & summer activities and a short drive to Ramblewild adventure park. Hiking, boating, museums, shopping, restaurants- all sorts of activities in the Berkshires. Two minute ride to Bloom Meadows!
