A peaceful, private country setting, where you can take in the majestic live oaks while sitting by a campfire gazing at the stars after a day of exploration with your loved ones(human &/or dog). Bring your tent & camp in the yard if you like! It's all about spending priceless time together and creating memories.

Papa Joe’s Lake House

Quiet little piece of heaven on earth. Enjoy the lake, sit by a fire, enjoy the nature God has provided in our sanctuary on Pickett Lake. Boat ramp is 100 yards down the road. 4 kayaks, canoe, and paddleboard are provided, all of which can be launched from the house. Fish from the dock or explore the lake. Use the grill or take a short drive to Branford or Mayo and enjoy some of the restaurants. Come boat, fish, or swim in the lake or just enjoy the lake view. Outdoor fire pit includes wood.

Super cute and spacious private 3/2 home on 4 acres really lets you enjoy the rural country life without the chores. Only a few miles from several springs and the Suwanee river. (Literally have 10 springs within 39 miles). A few of the springs are: Little River Springs (my favorite), Ichetucknee springs, Ginnie Springs, Royal spring, Charles Springs, Rum Island, Hart springs, Blue Springs, Poe springs and so many more. The Itchetucknee River State Park is 28 miles away with clear spring fed waters. The Suwannee River is 4 miles with the old cable suspension Hal W. Adams bridge. Mallory Swamp WMA is a 15 min drive. 33 miles away from Steinhatchee and the coast. All the comforts of a cozy home with a fully stocked kitchen.

Boat Parking directly in front of the house, visible and safe at all times! Wifi is available within the house for streaming when not taking advantage of the outdoor activities. Note: For prior guests, the Floating Dock sustained damage during hurricane, message us before hand for an update if dock is needed.

In the heart of Florida's cave diving region. Located right on the Suwannee River. Near by attractions; Royal Spring with Boat Ramp; 4 miles; Little River Spring; 8 miles;Troy Spring; 17 miles; Blue Hole Spring; 20 miles; Ichetucknee Spring; 22 miles; . As of now, the dock and stairs going down to the river are under re-construction. But can still get down to the river. I have 3 large dogs, let me know when you might arrive. So I can have them inside.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway located along the upper Steinhatchee River. Located down a dead end road in the woods. Across the river is Conservation Land so you will hear lots of birds, crickets, owls, and frogs. If your lucky you may even spot deer, wild boar, bobcats, otter, gators or manatee. This is a natural "Old Florida " environment complete with critters and bugs. Bug spray is recommended when outdoors in the warmer months.

We are about three miles up the coast from Keaton Beach. Known for scalloping! Three open bays for your vehicles. Boat launch one block away. Beautiful sunsets, stargazing, birding, reading, fishing and scalloping during the season.
