Views of the sea from the front sitting area and master bedroom French doors from the dining area open onto a large raised deck with steps down into the garden.

This unique place has a style all its own. Designed in a Japanese way with it's own Water Garden, terrace and boardwalk. Ideal for a family and children will love The Garden Wing, but there is access to the Japanese water garden, and bedroom 3+4 have unguarded stairs to unuseable mezzanine bunks ( see photos). Watch the sunrise over the downland with the village of Godshill and its church spire in the foreground.Take a short walk to the wildlife pond and ancient woodland within the grounds or sit on the sheltered veranda and watch the ponies grazing in the paddock, whatever the weather inside with the wood burning stove alight looking out, the view is spectacular. Welcome to the Garden Flat, a tastefully refurbished studio apartment overlooking a beautiful garden and stream which you are welcome to wander round. Located in the attractive village of Carisbrooke, it’s an ideal location for exploring the Island. It’s five minutes walk from Carisbrooke Castle, and ten minutes walk from the Tennyson Trail, which leads to Tennyson Down, the Needles, and the sea. There is picturesque countryside on the doorstep, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The cottage gets the sunshine all day, sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms one king and one twin bed room both are en suite. Lounge and front bedroom have views to the marina, rear bedroom and kitchen with views over gardens. Very quiet location away from traffic noise. Nearby there is a foot /cycle path which takes you into Newport with its shops and Restaurants. Only a short drive to sandy beaches. The cottage is central for Island attractions. We can also offer discount for ferry.
