Our house is located down a peaceful little lane in a semi-rural setting, with a beautiful outlook to the surrounding countryside & hills. We get stunning sunsets right from our living area, clear views of the stars at night and the peaceful serenity of the birds chirping. Just a 5 minute stroll to the Wainui beach access way at the end of the road and a convenient 8 minute drive into Gisborne City. Our place is ideal for families, with a private self contained studio & three bedroom house.

Peaceful, comfortable, and close to all that Gisborne has to offer. Walk to the main street, to food and takeaways and bottle store, and the best pies at Bakery 22. Just a two minute walk to the Botanical Gardens and the Taraheru river, and a scenic stroll across the footbridge up to the Ballance St Village. Enjoy a longer walk connecting with the walkway to Waikanae Beach, or take a quick drive to Gisborne's beautiful beaches. Or simply relax in the large garden with mature fruit trees.

Our humble,homely, little house is original with retro furnishings. It’s not perfect BUT you will feel comfortable. As it is close to the botanical gardens - you may see the odd insect. (Please do not book of this is a concern) You have sole access to the cottage. There are others on site with minimal disturbance, they are quiet and mature. We have 2 queen beds and a fold down sofa couch (PLEASE ASK FOR EXTRA LINEN IF NEEDED)
