Kandiyohi County Park 7 is 1 mile away with large swimming beach, life guards, play ground equipment, seasonal convenient store, and boat rentals. New London/ Spicer area is an easy 15 minute drive with boutique shops and dinning options.

Our sunsets are lovely, and nature surrounds you. We are located on Long Lake which has no public access so it’s very quiet. Bring your kayaks for some amazing bird and turtle watching. Feel like swimming? Fairly Lake beach is 4 minutes from the cabin! End your relaxing day around the firepit!

Hand-hewn rock gas fireplace, massage chair, fully stocked modern kitchen, wifi, YouTube TV (local channels & espn) & streaming. Enjoy the gazebo & hot tub next to the cabin throughout the seasons. I live across the street & clean and sanitize, so I know it is done properly. Note: Optional (additional charge) game room available.

Treehouse (LOTR) Stargazer Skycabin

Our LOTR themed treehouse, along with our LOTR Wizard's Cottage, have been described as a "love letter to Tolkien himself." We have been featured on PBS and WJON radio. A manager lives on the acreage, about 200 ft. from the Wizard's Cottage and very far from the treehouse, which is located on the back part of the acreage. It has a fenced-in portion that makes up the Shire Garden. Down the hill is our nod to Mordor. Feel free to visit and dare to open the "Mor Do(o)r."

NEW Lake house on Nest Lake with a gorgeous view!!

Brand new family vacation lake house on the east shore of Nest Lake. Whether jumping off the dock, kayaking around the islands, casting a line to catch that trophy fish, or lounging on the patio, you will have plenty of opportunities to soak up the sun during your stay! Spend the evening grilling up your catch, admiring the sunsets, and playing a few games on the pool table. This lake house has fun activities for the whole family to enjoy! This great two-story features 80 feet of shoreline, Bi-level deck w/ great lake views, main floor bedroom, ample natural light throughout! The upper level master bedroom has walk-out access to the deck with beautiful lake views! This is a perfect place for a multi-family outing. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood suited for a nightly campfire where an expected quiet time starts at 10pm. We are also 10 miles from Starlite drive-in theatre! Great for a family night out!

This rustic cabin is tucked away on 2 acres on Long Lake. The original log structure dates to 1858 with a new addition built out of repurposed barn wood. Enjoy a quiet retreat or a romantic getaway by the fireplace. Spend some time by the lake enjoying the fresh air and wildlife, or reconnect with family around the table playing games. Our cabin is the perfect place to re-energize and reconnect.
