It has all the amenities of home with a couple miles of mowed trails in the trees that lead you to a pond for fishing and reflection and the Platte River for beautiful scenery and playing in when the water is low in the summer! This lodge celebrates our hunting heritage and displays many animals harvested on or near this property.

The Pepper Shed

Welcome to "The Pepper Shed" named after our black lab. This is a unique utility shed with built-in living quarters located next to our family home located along the Cedar River. Beds are located in open loft upstairs and bathroom is located on the ground level. While staying, feel free to make yourself at home with private access to a patio, dog kennel, walk out balcony with full accommodations of Wi-Fi, TV with Roku, washer and dryer, outdoor grill and full kitchen.

Bluestem Corner Staytion

This unique place has a style all its own. Being the home of a former corner gas/service station, we remodeled the inside to make it quaint, comfortable, and entertaining for a passer through or visitor of the small town of Palmer. Enjoy your stay and experience everything the surrounding areas of Merrick, Howard, and Hall counties have to offer! Local Wineries, the State Fair, Crane Watching and so much more are within 30 minutes of our unique destination.

Stay in this historic carriage house apartment. Although beautifully decorated it does not pretend to be a five-star hotel. Our home is next to a train track. Welcome to rural Nebraska. Stroll down to Side Street Deli for coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Enjoy the Dark Island Trail located 5 minutes away. Plan dinner at Prairie Creek Vineyard and Winery located across the street or at the authentic Mexican restaurant that is a 1 minute walk away.

The Oak Street Cottage offers everything needed for just you or your entire family. Humphrey, NE has everything you could ask for in a small town, and now you can enjoy it from the comfort of a true home away from home. My wife and I and the 6 kids self manage the property and look forward to your visit!
