Take long walks at low tide across the Sandy expanses, and swim in calm waters or go kayaking during high tide. The fishing is excellent with a boat ramp near the shady park, picnic and BBQ area. Riverview Getaway is a single storey 3 bedroom fully contained home with sweeping views of the Mary River taking in the Granville Bridge, cane fields and Bauple Mountain Range. It is a perfect base for a family holiday or a couples getaway exploring the Fraser Coast and our beautiful heritage city "Maryborough". The terraced river bank allows access to a large river flat and deepwater river frontage. Please note that the bank is steep but you are more than welcome to explore.

The Cove Retreat Oceanfront Upstairs Apartment

This unique property is absolute oceanfront. It has the main residence and two private fully self contained apartments. Our friendly managers Jan and Steve live onsite with their little dog Charlie. The upstairs one bedroom apartment has stunnning views with ensuite and spa. Pets are very welcome but we ask that they are not left unattended. We offer doggie sitting at very reasonable rates and provide pet friendly ideas. All our relaxing outside areas overlook the ocean.

Mary River farm cottage

The Cottage has one bedroom with a queen bed, a sofa bed, a bathroom and a small kitchen, with a gas BBQ on verandah. Its suitable for a small family. It has Air-con. The farm has a herd of cows and some cultivated fields. There is a kilometer of Mary River frontage with bird, rare lungfish, frogs and platypus. There are large areas of scenic bush walking. Our place is dog friendly, but prefer the dog to stay outside in the secure enclosure on verandah.

Welcome to Heads Hideaway

You will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. This is a quite little hideway with ocean views, and 400metres from Oaks Beach, where turtles have being coming up to nest or a walk along the 20km beach front path to Bargara. Easy parking and room for boats with a fully fenced property. Animal friendly property, with owners to be responsible for there pets.This is a shared property with other guests.

Finch Gully - Apple Tree Creek

Unique private couples cabin on acreage just north of Childers. Amongst the trees and overlooking spring fed gully with birds galore. Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature with self-contained kitchen, outdoor spa, BBQ, fireplace and firepit area.
