Our cottage is a base camp from which to enjoy the beauty of the north woods. Plan your winter to snowmobile, ice fish, downhill or cross-country ski and hike. In summer make it a get-a-way for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, or ATVing. Venture out to the numerous waterfalls, hike the Ottawa National Forest or Sylvania Wilderness, view the scenic Porcupine Mountains, drive through the Keweenaw peninsula. Private two bedroom cottage in Florence, WI. on Loon Lake. Loon Lake is a private 60 acre lake, 55 feet deep. No public boat launch. Cottage is located on 4 private wooded acres, with 350 feet of lake frontage. Cottage is fully equipped, just bring your own towels, and personal bathing items. No Shampoo or bath soaps provided Private Dock, Fire Pit, Charcoal Grill. Deck over looking the lake. Row Boat, Paddle Boat, and 2 Kayaks included Access to ATV trails. The Sasquatch hideaway offers you direct access to the ATV trail, a 600ft walk to the crystal clear waters of Paya lake. New for 2025 is a Wood fired barrel sauna for to decompress. The main offers a queen sized bed and the guest room offers a Full/Twin Loft bed, as well as a twin Murphy bed. There is also a massive sectional couch as a sleeping option.
