Acerca de 4 km para Norte, a partir da cidade da Horta, fica a Praia do Almoxarife. No espaço " a moagem" há vida em cada recanto, no jardim existe uma cisterna d' água e uma eira. Apresenta uma arquitetura de traça tradicional, que remonta ao início do século passado. N' a moagem pratica-se uma filosofia com base no tradicional e sustentável. É constituído por: apartamento, jardim, atelier de artesanato, quinta com animais, hortícolas, frutícolas e sementes de variedades tradicionais.

Just a couple of minutes driving from Madalena village, this traditional and remodeled wine house has its own vineyard on the backyard. Outrora adega tradicional de vinho, construída por Francisco Paulo em 1980, esta moradia serviu durante muitos anos como local de produção e armazém do vinho da família Paulo. A adega foi remodelada e ampliada, mas mantêm os alçados tradicionais e a decoração e pormenores próprios dos tempos em que foi utilizada como adega.
