Built in 1940 by Fred Moore, one of Anoka's most influential citizens, this magnificent Cape Cod estate has stood watch over 120 ft of Mississippi River frontage for more than eight decades. From the moment you arrive, the rolling lawn sweeps you down toward the river, where the Mississippi moves quietly past. Inside, a breathtaking view through a 16 foot glass door, framing the river like a living painting.

This charming home is an ideal, tranquil retreat. While only a moment's walk from town, it is secluded, sitting directly on the lake. Kayaks are provided. Come enjoy this sunny blue bungalow, located 10 mins from MSP airport, in the SE corner of the Twin Cities. This spacious French country bungalow is in a separate private section of the lower level of our home with: private entrance, kitchen, large bedroom, bathroom with shower, and living/diningroom. - At least one person in the renting party must be between the ages of 28-70. Whomever reserves the bungalow, will need to show a photo ID when they arrive, to prevent fraudulent reservations.

Lovingly preserved and recently refreshed, we now want to share our little red cottage on Lake Minnetonka with guests who want to enjoy a calm, relaxing suburban lake getaway. The cottage offers a lot, and yet because we're in a quiet neighborhood and live on the commons, the little red cottage is not a spot for parties, reunions, bigger groups, or people needing boat access.
