Nestled in open countryside next to our vineyard on the outskirts of Bishop's Stortford, an ideal base to explore East Herts & North Essex or visit London & Cambridge. The Cowshed is a recently converted barn sleeping 5, complete with fully equipped kitchen, dining area and comfy seating around a woodburner. Egyptian cotton linen and black out blinds in all bedrooms. Outdoors enjoy the wood burning hot tub, feed the chickens, take a stroll round our lake or discover the zip wire in the wood!

The Strawberry Box - luxury eco barn conversion

The Strawberry Box is a luxuriously converted old tractor barn located on our working strawberry farm in rural Suffolk. South facing with extensive views across the rolling countryside, it is self contained and private, perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday, a romantic break or a base for exploring the rich heritage and beautiful villages around us. There are good pubs within comfortable walking distance and footpaths and narrow lanes to explore close by - or just take a wander around the farm.

Stunning Suffolk Barn Conversion

The Hay Barn, with its wonky beams and wood-burning stove, sits peacefully among acres of rolling farmland, moments from some of Suffolk’s most iconic sights, including Sutton Hoo - featured on Netflix’s The Dig. Wake to the splashing of wild mallards on the pond, pick juicy plums from the orchard, and set off on an adventure across the fields. Perfect for walking, cycling, exploring or simply hiding away.

Our detached lodge is set in the grounds of our gated property overlooking the hot tub and stable yard. It has 2 bedrooms and a large lounge with 2 sets of French doors to take in the views. TV,dining table and 4 chairs and comfy sofa. Fully equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave and toaster. Gas central heating and heated towel rail in bathroom. Private parking outside lodge and free airport parking for those flying from Southend airport. Cot and high chair available. DVD players and dvds

Nestled in a small private glade next to a brook with views over the meadow, and countryside beyond, an abundance of wildlife all around a great place to get away from it all. Stunning Lakeside Shepherd's Hut - Hot Tub & Sauna

A stunning shepherd's hut in a beautiful lakeside location. Set at the back of a working farm & equestrian centre the hut is well-appointed with modern decor. Visitors will have the use of the hut, stunning firepit & BBQ. A beautiful private wood-fired hot tub is attached for your exclusive use. There is also a sauna a few steps away. The lake is well fenced, secure & very private. Visitors are welcome to fish in the very well-stocked specimen Carp lake, with multiple fish approaching 40lb.

Rural cartlodge on a family run arable farm

A cosy cottage on a small working family farm near the Essex/Suffolk border. Within walking distance of the beautiful village of Castle Hedingham. It is the perfect base for exploring the countryside, enjoying the wildlife, visiting the local venues or the historic villages of Finchingfield, Thaxted, Lavenham and Long Melford, which are all within a 30-minute drive. Alternatively, there is boating on the nearby river Stour, or just enjoying a drink at one of the country pubs along its route.

Dynes Cottage at Finchingfield Holiday Cottages

A large thatched cottage dating back 400 yrs, Dynes Cottage is set in a complex of 3 houses & surrounded by beautiful countryside. With a private outdoor courtyard & a beautiful orchard, you can relax with the whole family. Sleeps 10. The cottage is just 1/2 a mile from Finchingfield, one of the prettiest villages in the country, with great pubs & tea rooms. The cottage is hosted by Catherine who lives on site. Acorn Cottage (4 bed) can be rented in conjunction with Dynes cottage.

Escape the city and relax in this beautiful 15th century countryside house. Pounce Hall is within an hour of London and 20 minutes from Cambridge. The house provides a cosy atmosphere and the perfect place to come and make memories with family or friends. Light up the log burner or the open fireplace in winter. The well equipped kitchen with AGA will make cooking together a treat. In the summer head out and fire up the BBQ and enjoy the beautiful gardens.

Wrenwood Cottage - quiet, riverside retreat

Wrenwood is a well presented, riverside cottage in the quaint historic town of Clare. At over 250 years old and recently renovated, it is the perfect place for a relaxing break. Situated along a quiet footpath, next to the River Stour and a few minutes walk from the High Street, it is conveniently placed to explore the delights of the Suffolk and Essex countryside. With its inglenook fireplaces, exposed beams and cosy rooms, it exudes country charm.

Idyllic house and gardens on estuary

A beautiful large farmhouse, dating from approximately 1600 and listed Grade II, in acres of idyllic gardens and overlooking a mile-wide river estuary. There is direct access from the bottom of the garden onto the ‘sea wall’ along the river, for walks and wonderful birdwatching. There is a duckpond (fenced) by the house and chickens (collect the eggs), and a large summerhouse with veranda in the garden, as well as a paddock of alpacas!
