Full of unexpected details, including an outside labyrinth, The Stable is a comfortable sanctuary for all who want to settle in and smile.

This story could have started in the 40's, but we'll start in the 60's when this tiny cabin was local housing to graduate students at Duke. Wonderfully located and unlike anything else this close to Duke University or downtown Durham, the Green Door cabin welcomes you for the weekend or week. Fully renovated recently while keeping the charm intact. You can feel as isolated as you want with every amenity within just a couple of miles. Duke Forest Trails and Duke CC Trail within walking distance.

Twenty minutes to RDU Airport, five minutes to Duke's East Campus and ten minutes to West Campus, we are an easy walk to a range of locally-owned restaurants. It’s the perfect balance of peaceful retreat and city convenience. The home includes all the essentials — full kitchen, laundry, A/C, and high-speed internet — but many guests find themselves spending most of their time relaxing on the screened-in porch, listening to birds, and recharging.
