The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Our architect designed, garden roof cabin was built in 2020 to take in views across they valley to knocklofty. North facing the sun warms this house with the passive solar design maintaining a steady temperature. To complement this there is a wood fire for grey days and a sliding door and bifold windows for hot ones. Ply lining and exposed rafters give the house a cabin feel creating a retreat feeling. Different outdoor spaces provide great options to soak in the sun and neighbourhood.

Cherry Cottage is just 2.5kms from the city’s CBD and famous Salamanca Market making it your perfect base for visiting Hobart. Sandy Bay is our city's most exclusive suburb, boasting beautiful beaches, restaurants, cafes, fine shopping, parks and play-grounds all just short walks away. And our all hours self check-in takes the stress out of arriving late.
