Beautiful royal-village cottage with wood-burner

Eastmost Cottage is in a wonderful position on the edge of the historic village of Falkland. It's a short walk from the fine Renaissance Falkland Palace, the heart of the medieval village with its independent shops, cafes restaurants and pub. There is great walking in the Lomond hills, accessible on foot. The wonderful Covenanter has great food all day; the Hayloft and Pillars of Hercules are lovely cafes. The Stag is a lovely bistro (our fav). Fine dining at the Boar's Head in Auchtermuchty.

Log Cabin in Auchtertool.

The Log Cabin is situated in 3 acres of garden, shared only with our own house. Guests are welcome to make use of the garden. The Cabin sleeps five people and we have a travel cot if required. There is one large bedroom with two kingsize and one single beds. The Cabin does not have TV or wifi, however it does have an excellent 4G signal. We welcome well behaved pets, up to a maximum of two small dogs or one large dog, even a cat. We ask guests who bring pets to vacuum before they leave.

The Wee Hoose Fife offers the ability to cook and prepare food with the use of a kitchen. Secure WiFi is available and the TV has Freeview. It is located within walking distance to amenities and Halbeath park n ride. A perfect pitch for golfers as we are not far from St Andrews and Glen Eagles.

Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. The antique four poster bed, deep roll top bath and open fire evoke earlier times, but are truly comfortable and luxurious. An elegant table is set for breakfast. Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.

One Bedroom, recently refurbished seaside cottage, sleeps four as there's a sofa bed in the living room. Dog friendly. The area is very popular with cyclists and walkers as it's on the Fife costal path. There are many historical places nearby, Culross is where some of outlander was filmed, and Dunfermline boasts an Abbey, which is the final resting place of Robert the Bruce. The cottage has a beautiful courtyard. Excellent dog friendly pubs and cafes.

Shower room with shower, WC and basin We are in the countryside 1.7 miles from the village of Saline where there is a little convenience store.
