It has been renovated throughout and guests can enjoy it’s modern interior and facilities in this traditional cottage which now has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.

Ulleswater, Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite are all nearby as well as the highs of Blencathra, Helvelyn and Skiddaw fells As guests you have free access to the villages facilities which include indoor pool complex,( complimentary towels), gym, table tennis as well as crazy golf, putting green and outdoor play area.

Townfoot Byre, EV friendly

Townfoot Byre, Troutbeck is a beautiful bedroom suite in our 330 year old traditional Lakeland farmhouse. The house was built in 1691 and what is now Townfoot Byre would have originally housed animals. However, it has now been converted it into a charming and cosy bedroom suite with its own small kitchenette and bathroom. Spa, sauna, swimming pool and gym access at a local club is included, free with your stay. A 7Kw EV charger is available, if you're travelling in an electric vehicle.

The swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room will be closed for refurbishment from Monday 2nd March until Thursday 2nd April 2026. Luxury studio apartment in a peaceful setting in Whitbarrow Village with hot tub, pool, sauna, steam room and gym. Balcony with views. Changeover days are Friday (for a 3 night stay) and Monday (for a 4 night stay) or 7 nights from either day, but please contact me if you have any queries with your dates as we can sometimes be flexible.
