Miller’s Rest is a self-contained one bedroom cottage with private parking and 2miles from Orton, 5 miles from Shap. The cottage is peaceful with plenty of space and all modern amenities. The bespoke kitchen is well equipped, living room has a log burner effect electric fire for those colder nights. The bedroom has an ensuite shower room and large wardrobe. There is a small stream running alongside the garden lovely for sitting outside enjoying a glass of wine, relaxing and watching the birds.

Cedar Lodge in the Yorkshire Dales National Park

Come and experience our little bit of Eden. Our fully insulated Log cabin is situated within our private woodland with its own entrance and approx 1 acre of fenced woodland, about 5 miles west of Appleby. The Lodge is on our 50 acre smallholding so although it is on its own it is not isolated and is within 200m of our farmhouse. Well placed for walking or exploring the quiet Eden Valley, and the Pennines, The Lakes and The Yorkshire Dales are within 30 mins drive.

The Mill, Rutter Falls,

Comfortable converted watermill sleeping one or two couples, overlooking a spectacular waterfall, in the tranquil Eden Valley, between Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. The deep pool below the falls is ideal for cold-water swimming. Perfect for a romantic getaway, or watching abundant birds and wildlife, for honeymoons, anniversaries or engagements! Accommodation provided in delightful character house in Morland near Penrith. The Eden Valley is a charming unspolit part of Cumbria but only 20 minutes from Ullswater.
