The Frog Cabin

Take a step back in time at The Frog Cabin! A log cabin rich in history, nestled in a modern neighborhood close to many amenities. The original structure was built in 1840 in Wilkesville, Ohio and relocated to its current location in 1936. Each log was carefully numbered, disassembled and restored to its original specifications in Clintonville. The entire home has just been updated with new bathrooms, kitchen, and appliances while still preserving and enhancing the natural character.

This rustic 2-bedroom cabin is conveniently located on large private pond just outside the city limits of Mt. Vernon with shopping, dining, brewery and entertainment. We are pet friendly (additional $50 per stay, max 2 pets) with all the modern convenience, fully stocked kitchen, 50" flat screen smart TV, washer/dryer and fast internet. Outdoor fireplace/grill is the perfect hangout just steps from deck overlooking the large pond. 4-person paddle boat is there for use during your stay.

This retreat is set on a 2.5 acre wooded lot, settled on Olentangy River. Enjoy sitting by the river, fishing, & hiking at a local parks and caverns. New hot tub, leather furniture, 77 OLED tv. Downstairs also has plenty of seating, t.v, bar. 3 king, 2 queen beds. No pets. Possible weddings or larger gatherings upon approval and additional fees.

This historic structure was originally a 2-story log home built in 1813. The home was used as an Inn or tavern along the Old Federal Road leading from Columbus to Springfield. In 2020, the decision was made to disassemble the second floor of the original cabin and then reassemble it on a new foundation with walk-out basement. This rebuilt cabin overlooks Deer Creek and a 50 plus acre wetlands area. The property is 1 mile from I-70 and is only a 30-minute drive to Columbus, OH.

A tiny cabin located just outside of Bellville, OH. The Cabin was built summer of 2024, with all new furnishings. It is perfect for small families, or a couples getaway. The wooded back drop of this cabin provides a tranquil atmosphere to rest, recharge, and unplug. With a King sized bed, high end mattress, and additional queen sized pull out couch, you are sure to enjoy your stay. The private outdoor space is a favorite, with a deck, fire pit, chairs, and string lights.
