The home is an, updated 2 bed, 2 bath home, that sleeps up to 6 guests - located on a double lot. Outdoor space includes a deck, paver patio with fire pit, large entertaining 25 foot table spanning 2 oak trunks, a swing set, a boat dock, detached garage, and parking pad big enough to fit an RV/Trailer/Camper, and a large yard.

The Maynard Cabin, a Civil War era log cabin

The Maynard Log Cabin was erected by a homesteader after the civil war. We have moved and restored it and made it available for rent. It is off the grid, but it has a complete functioning kitchen, wood stove and sitting room downstairs. There are two antique beds with new mattresses upstairs. There is no electricity but the cabin is furnished with kerosene lanterns. The bathroom facilities consist of wash basins and outhouse. The cabin is surrounded by 40 acres of woods and meadows.

Built in 2017, this comfortable and tranquil getaway includes a full kitchen, bathroom with a cedar-lined shower, electric in-floor heat, a wood stove, warm pine siding throughout, and a spacious sleeping loft. A covered porch, fire pit and fully-stocked woodshed are right outside the door. Your stay includes access to more than ten kilometers of trails traversing hundreds of acres of private woodland originating steps from your door.

Relax on the patio or warm up by the tiny wood stove for a quiet, nature-filled getaway—close to adventure, lakes, shops, and great places to eat.

Treehouse (LOTR) Stargazer Skycabin

Our LOTR themed treehouse, along with our LOTR Wizard's Cottage, have been described as a "love letter to Tolkien himself." We have been featured on PBS and WJON radio. A manager lives on the acreage, about 200 ft. from the Wizard's Cottage and very far from the treehouse, which is located on the back part of the acreage. It has a fenced-in portion that makes up the Shire Garden. Down the hill is our nod to Mordor. Feel free to visit and dare to open the "Mor Do(o)r."

Enjoy the paddle boat, kayaks and dock, and for more fun, rent the pontoon and jet-ski. We also have a 30 amp rv hookup option for $45/day.

Welcome to our up-north cabin, where cozy comfort meets rustic charm! Nestled amidst towering pines and overlooking the serene Lake Shamineau, this family-friendly retreat offers a tranquil escape. The open-concept living area provides ample space. Both inside and outside offer picturesque views of trees and dining/sitting. With three bedrooms and one loft space, this cabin accommodates two families nicely.

Beautiful lake home on North Long Lake in Brainerd. Close proximity to Brainerd International Raceway. Great for race weekends! Wonderful lake with a shallow and sandy shore. Everything is brand new in this space. Perfect for families and friends! Please note that due to winter conditions the plumbing/bathroom/kitchenette in the bunk house is unavailable. The main cabin plumbing is available year round.
