If you are looking for a serene location that is nestled in the woods off a quiet country road and only 1 mile from the town square with its locally owned grocery store and gas station, you’ve come to the right spot! We are centrally located between Burke Mtn and Jay Peak resort, both being 30 minutes away and are near several lakes and hiking trails and the Craftsbury Outdoor Ctr. You will be expected to strip your beds, clean up any messes you made and return used items to their original space

Rochester House is near restaurants, trails, family-friendly activities, and lake beaches. It's convenient to many destinations, including, Hill Farmstead, Caspian Lake (beach) and Craftsbury. A short walk to the Farmer's Market, grocery stores, and most village restaurants. Downtown is .7 miles, 15 min walk. This may be too far in winter. There is a city plowed sidewalk all the way during snow season if needed. House of Pizza is only 2 blocks. We are in the village, please respect neighbors.

Jay Mountain Retreat

Our modern home is just 8 miles to Jay Peak. We have long range mountain views, you can check if the tram is running and enjoy exquisite sunsets all from the couch. The loft upstairs has an open floor plan with a comfortable living space, bathroom and platform bed, where you can view Jay Peak conditions. We now have Starlink high speed internet. There are 8 private acres half woods half open meadow feel free to walk around the property and enjoy the quiet sounds of nature.
