Take a break to unwind in beautiful Cowichan Bay on Vancouver Island - about a 40 minute drive from Victoria BC. Our renovated (in June 2023) suite is at the end of a no-through road and is only a 5-10 minute walk into the village to a fabulous, organic craft bakery, artisan shops, restaurants, a museum, a pub, a small grocery/liquor store and a popular ice cream/candy store. (Seasonal) kayak/paddle-board rentals & whale watching excursions for hire. Cowichan District Hospital 15 min drive.

Our heritage home is only 5 minutes to downtown and 15 minutes to the Cowichan District hospital. The "HH Garden Suite", is situated in the heart of the Cowichan Valley's mountain - biking area and is no more than a ten minute drive to any of the three mountains that valley bikers boast of! In a quiet suburban neighbourhood, a renovated, modern, clean suite with: 1 private BR w/ 1 queen bed, 1 queen sofa bed, 1 bathroom w/ tub, a full kitchen, and a laundry room. A five minute drive to downtown Duncan. There is a private entrance with a patio, and a parking spot outside your door. A heat pump, and a carbon and HEPA filter air purifier are installed for climate control. The tv has Netflix, Amazon, and Disney+. We are a small family who lives upstairs. We are a 5 minute drive from West Shawnigan Lake Park (lake access) and an 8 minute drive from Masons Beach / Shawnigan village, and a 50 minute drive from Victoria.

Downtown Duncan is less than 10 minutes away and there is bus service available.

The suite is bright and cheerful, one bedroom with a double sofa bed in the living area. It is fully furnished with a full kitchen, complete bathroom facilities and washer/dryer. The suite is totally self contained with its own private entrance. Linens, towels, shampoos and utensils are provided. We are at the foot of Mt. Tzouhalem (Zoo-Halem), a popular hiking/mountain biking and walking destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Our suite is inspected and legal.
