Our English cottage dating from the 1700s is snug in winter and stunning in summer! With all mod-cons, Chicory Cottage is ideal for exploring the Cotswolds. We're on the edge of a small historic town, with countryside views from the garden. Malmesbury's pubs, restaurants and famous abbey are a short walk, or you can head in the other direction for a country hike. Or just make yourself at home in front of the cosy log-burner, work remotely with our super-fast wifi, or relax in the pretty garden.

This self-contained, easily accessible cottage is set in beautiful gardens in the South Cotswolds. A peaceful location in a small hamlet with two pubs within a 5-minute drive. It is 3½ miles from the fascinating historic town of Malmesbury, the oldest borough in England with an Abbey containing the tomb of King Athelstan, the 1st King of all England. Malmesbury has been designated the best place to live in South West 2026 by the Sunday Times. You are welcome to explore the tranquil gardens.

Its charming setting is instantly relaxing, with a private terrace overlooking mature gardens, dairy pasture and the tranquil River Avon. Renovated recently, so everything is fresh, bright and immaculate, it sleeps 4 people comfortably, and there’s a double sofa bed if you have extra guests. There’s plenty of secure parking behind electric gates.

With a private parking space, modern fitted kitchen and cosy log burner it's the perfect place to relax. With free WiFi, Smart TV, Bose Bluetooth speaker, Roberts DAB radio, two bedrooms with king sized beds, quality bed linen and two bathrooms. Towels are provided too, all you need to bring is yourself! (log starter pack provided Dec and Jan only)

The hut is very private with its own track and parking.
