It offers quick access to restaurants, gift shops, Aunt Ebby's Ice Cream and other shops. About a block from the home is Island Outfitters (beach rental equip.) and Island Dog Outdoors. There are plenty of beaches nearby, including the main public beach and the State Park which covers the east portion of the island.

Pets welcome, however there is a $50 fee to cover cleaning fees. 5 min to Carrabelle beach, 30 min to St George Island, 15 min to Dog Island by boat.
