Nestled in an olive grove with views over Bruny Island’s famous Fluted Cape, our yurts offer the ultimate romantic glamping experience, with private bathroom and cooking facilities and an outdoor bath and fire pit for star gazing. Each yurt is furnished with vintage wares collected from all over the world, an internal wood fire, timber floors, and wool lined walls for cosy nights. Double glazed windows look out over the grove and surrounding forest which wraps 360 degrees around our farm.

We want to offer visitors to Hobart a unique & luxurious accommodation experience, which connects modern design with its rugged, bush environment. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Set up for up to four adults, this gorgeous home offers waterfront views, two luxurious bedrooms, a large kitchen with a Glemgas 6 burner gas stove and oven, an indoor fireplace, coffee machine and a fire-pit for enjoying balmy evenings. Add an absolute abundance of wildlife, fishing and swimming and you have the perfect getaway!

Minimalism, simplicity and luxury combine to create an experience you will always remember, whether it be a romantic getaway, a relaxing retreat to recharge or a base to explore the magnificence of Bruny Island.

Wake up with the beach at your doorstep. Secret Spot is one of Bruny Island’s few absolute beachfront escapes. An original beach shack, tarted up with your comfort in mind, it’s the perfect retreat for two. Walk across the lawn to a sandy swimming beach, enjoy sweeping water and mountain views, cosy up by the wood heater or fire pit (firewood supplied), and watch for wallabies at dusk—including the occasional rare white wallaby. Unplug, unwind and fall asleep to the sound of the sea.

The Songbird | Waterfront Escape

Where the sea sings and time slows… On Bruny Island’s quiet edge, The Songbird - a 1960s shack, lovingly restored - offers a romantic hideaway just metres from the water’s edge. Linen-draped interiors, a flickering fire, and an antique outdoor bath invite you to pause. A waterfront Pavilion on private 8 acres bushland. This unique waterside location provides a unique setting for your Huon Valley stay. Eat like a local at the Red Velvet, The Old Bank in Cygnet. Fully self contained, the cottage is all yours to enjoy. You’ll meet the friendly wild life as you explore the surrounding bush land. On day two, why not book the private cedar outdoor Hot tub!

Aerie Retreat

AERIE retreat. A private designer apartment in the bush by the water. Walk down to the very private Wilderness Deck for exclusive use of the Timber Hot Tub, Sauna and fire pit. Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter. Watch the winter full moon rise over the ocean from the hot tub and sauna.

Welcome to the beautiful east coast of Bruny Island, where contentment and connection awaits. From The Joneses, a mid century style home originally built by Mr L Jones and reimagined in 2023 to become a luxurious escape for couples or solo travellers, you will have uninterrupted views of the azure waters of Adventure Bay and across to Penguin Island and Fluted Cape.
