Shepherd hut -secluded riverside location

Our isolated shepherd’s hut is a cosy place with a large spacious shower and a comfortable king size bed. Recently fitted yet with some antique features. It has a private river view with its own private picnic table on the river too. There is a large garden area and private mooring. A porch area at the front and a cosy kitchen area to relax with a glass of wine or cup of coffee...we provide toaster, kettle, fridge and microwave and there’s a fire pit on request and a local Tesco very close by.

Dog Friendly Lakeside Lodge, Lincolnshire, hot tub

The Lakeside Retreat at Tallington holiday rental is a very dog friendly self catering holiday let with hot tub. It has far reaching views over the fields at the back, & the lake at the front, which bathes in sunshine all day long. There is an enclosed grassed garden for dogs, a hot tub, & a jetty. Close to Stamford for fine shopping & dining, & even close enough for a day trip to the Norfolk coast, the Lakeside Retreat caters for all your needs - there’s even a dog friendly bar nearby! Bliss.

Set in 30 acres of lakes, gardens and woodland this spacious four bedroom home is ideal for family holidays, groups or business guests wanting a peaceful location but with plenty to do. Activities include rowing, kayaking, open water swimming, tennis, walking and birdwatching. The house is extremely spacious and well equipped with everything you need in a home from home, there is even a piano. Children are well catered for and up to 2 dogs are welcome, although there is no enclosed garden.

It has a private balcony overlooking the River Cam where you can observe rowers, swans and herons gliding by. It is a 20-25 minute stroll along the river towpath into the historic centre of Cambridge or a ten minute bike ride. A Tesco local is 2 mins away, pizza pub and coffee bar and post office. Friendly Labradors roam freely.

Burwell is perfectly located between Newmarket and Cambridge, with both being only a short drive away.
