Modeled after a European farmstay, guests love walking in the orange groves, visiting with the rescue animals, shopping in the farmshop, enjoying a beautiful breakfast, or taking in our very popular sunset and charcuterie experience. Note:European Farmstays are exactly that: A family farm. Not a 5-star resort.

An oasis on a private retreat

A beautifully secluded area (40+ acres) surrounded by natural beauty with lovely views of Elkhorn Slough and the Pacific Ocean, away from the maddening crowd. Yet, accessible to Carmel / Pebble Beach / Santa Cruz. A variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, bicycling, kayaking, golfing and whale watching. A full breakfast is served daily. It should also be noted it is a gated property and the home is accessed through a dirt / gravel private country lane which is 0.75 mile from the gate.

Situated in an upscale neighborhood, this exquisite guest suite boasts a private entrance on a safe, quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of the wine country. The en-suite is perfect for a romantic getaway, comfortable for an infant or small child, and ideal for the business traveler. We are 5 miles from Healdsburg and 3 from the Sonoma Co. Airport. Three parks within 4 miles encompass over 20 miles of hiking/biking. The Russian River, Redwoods, and Sonoma Coast are only a short, panoramic drive away.

Stunning location with sweeping views. Park-like setting with hiking and rock climbing access directly from our back yard. Perfect location close to Joshua Tree Park and Pioneer town. The Nest is clean and comfortable. Tastefully decorated with an eclectic twist and totally private. Perfect nature immersion for hikers, a romantic retreat for couples or just a sweet little week-end getaway for anyone in need of some evening chill time under the stars, sipping a glass of wine on the back patio.

We call our place Casita Pacifica (Peaceful Little House) as this suite is a mellow and relaxing retreat, yet in a San Diego suburb only 10-20 minutes from everything. Sadly, we no longer host peacocks, but our space is decorated in memory of their majestic energy. Our standards are high when we travel, so we created a suite that we'd love to stay in ourselves: stocked with goodies, things to do, recommendations, privacy, comfort & above all - cleanliness. Decompress from the stresses of everyday life on a comfy six foot antique couch beside a real wood stove. Or refresh yourself with a hot shower under the bathroom skylight. Relax in the queen bed watching the golden varigated leaves of bamboo sway gently in the breeze outside your window.

Gorgeous, comfortable two bedroom Suite

Our light-filled lower level suite has been fully remodeled (completed Feb 2019) and includes two bedrooms (up to 4 Queen beds), a large media room with a fold-out couch bed, and one full bathroom. Total space is approximately 1000 square feet with a private entrance. Amenities include all the perks of our media room and a kitchenette. We wash all linens included Duvet covers between guests. Please see below for Coronavirus precautions we are taking to ensure complete safety for guests.
