The BnB ground floor guest suit offers accommodation for 6 people in 3 air-conditioned bedrooms, 1 bathroom & comfortable living room. The outdoor pool and deck area is for exclusive guest use in a private tropical garden. On street parking available. The owners live on site upstairs and have a separate entrance.

A little piece of paradise with a tropical pool at your doorstep, and a 3 min stroll to the beach. 5 mins drive from Palm Cove and 30 min from Cairns city. Our property is also a working flower farm, home to a wide variety of Heliconias and Gingers. The lodge is completely self‑sustaining. Fresh spring water flows though the property a gravity‑fed system, our on‑site waterfall generates clean hydroelectric power. Guests often tell us it feels like staying in a hidden, eco‑friendly sanctuary where nature does all the work.

Only 7minutes to the city and airport. I built-in the downstairs of my Pole Home, it is air- condition for guest to enjoy our wonderful location. Base tariff is for 2. $40 per extra guest.

It is a great place to stay if you’re looking for an affordable clean comfortable space to stay while you explore Cairns & the Tropical far north. The Kookaburra Lodge (aptly named for its feathered visitors), is a purpose built 1 bedroom apartment on a fully fenced 1000sqm plot, beside our family home. With a shared pool & its own deck for relaxation, The Lodge yard offers tons of space for those furry/non furry friends to romp, play and be entertained. (Please note no pets inside) ¹ Cleaning fee of $50 if pet hair found inside.
