If want to walk, swim, sightsee, chill, cycle, eat out or shop we have have everything in strolling distance. You will have full cooking facilities, dishwasher and a washer dryer. The en-suite bedroom has super comfy king size bed. We feel very lucky to live here and would love you to enjoy it too

The property is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, next to open country and natural woodland, yet only 5 minutes’ walk from the village shops, restaurants, lake promenade and boating centre. All utilities, super-fast broadband, bed linen are provided. We ask guests to bring their own TOWELS. Sorry - we are unable to take pets.

Flat 1, Thwaites Howe, The Warren

The Warren is based in the heart of Bowness on Windermere, 0.4 miles down to Lake Windermere. We have plenty of bars and restaurants on our door step and the Beatrix Potter Attraction is around 2 minutes walk. We have parking for one car so you can park up and access all that Bowness has to offer. There are many walks that can be accessed straight from the property. The open top tour bus runs from the bottom of the road. We welcome families and are always on hand to share information.

Fir Cottage

Fir Cottage is a traditional Lakeland Terraced Victorian home ideally located to explore the Lake District. It is a 10 minute walk to the village of Bowness, where shops, restaurants, and of course Lake Windermere is located or a 10 minute walk to Windermere village for more cafes, shops and restaurants. The house is ideal for a family or a small gathering of friends. Guests have the entire house to themselves, located in a quiet and peaceful street. Parking is on the street and free.
