The Big 8 offers 8 acres of peace. It is located in a ranching town in western Colorado, with access to Crawford State Park, where you can swim, fish, paddle, and enjoy the views of the Gunnison National Forest. The Black Canyon is nearby, with more spectacular views, hiking trails. The nearby towns of Paonia and Hotchkiss offer a variety of restaurants and music venues, along with the local Bar and Grill, where you can mingle with the locals. Want to bring your horses? You will not regret your stay. The Wilderness Cabin is located 11 miles up a Forest Service Dirt/Gravel road.
