Situated in the grounds of the owner’s working farm, who are on hand to offer advice on the local area, the cottages are in an excellent central location on the Tipperary/Offaly border, almost equidistant from the picturesque town of Birr, 7½km, and one of the oldest towns in Ireland, Roscrea, 6km, and a 2km drive from Gloster house and wedding venue.

The cottage is set in a lovely southfacing courtyard set amidst farm and woodland, and only 50 mins drive from Shannon airport. It features a roll top bath, log burning stove and also has high speed fiber internet. The cottage has just been revamped and has high quality bed linen and towels to ensure that extra bit of luxury. Two miles from village with pub/restaurant and local shop with bakery. Close to lough Derg, beautiful walks and Ritual sauna by the lake. Homemade scones on arrival.

Cosy Cottage in Nenagh

Moyroe cottage is based on the outskirts of Nenagh on our dairy farm. The town centre with its main shopping street, pubs, restaurants, visitors centre and the Nenagh castle as well as the bus stop is about 25 minutes of a walking distance - 5 minutes by car. The closest supermarket is Tesco with a 5 minute drive. Several access points to the M7 are close by. There are many interesting places to visit in the vicinity. Ballindooley Castle

The Castle rests on about half an acre of land with Ballindooley Lake lying to the south west. It is surrounded by low walls and hedges: with a gated entrance controlled by an electronic security system. Features include 3 murders holes and a dungeon The castle was built by the DeBurgo family (approximately 1480). It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels
