We ourselves lived in this home for our first 5 years and turned it into a beautiful and peaceful space for ourselves that we would now like to share with everyone.

We began caring for this home and property in 2018, and this 1870's home needed some love. We have been steadily remodeling since we moved in and it's starting to feel pretty great. We're excited to share it and the neighborhood with you. We are two blocks west of North Beach/Deland Park, 4 blocks to the river front boardwalk, home to many restaurants, cafe's, and shops. We are also four quick blocks to downtown which hosts many more restaurants, shops, museums and parks.

Treat yourself to a peaceful get-away in our cozy cabin on Lake Bernice! Enjoy the beautiful lake view from inside the cabin through the large picture windows or from the comfy reclining chairs on the lower patio or the dining area on the upper deck. Take a cup of coffee or your fishing pole down to the private pier to savor the quiet of the no-wake lake. Also, excellent ice fishing! Your canine companions are welcome as well (maximum 2 dogs), $60 total for your stay.

NEW at Shalom House is WiFi, though the woods is a great place to connect with the world too. Wonderful drinking water and whole house water system. Less than 1 hour from Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay, Close to Oshkosh (EAA) and Elkhart Lake. Includes 2 bedrooms, with plush queen beds, 1 full bathroom, Laundry room with washer and dryer. The perfect home for a laid back group of friends, couples or a family to stay with all the comforts of being at home.

Come stay near the heart of Oshkosh - you’ll be on the second floor with views of Lake Winnebago. If you need anything during your stay we live on-site and are only a message away. Don’t worry though, the units are completely separated so you’ll have all the privacy you desire during your stay.
