Villa Apollonia was meticulously designed and constructed to take advantage of the stunning sea views, picturesque Kefalonian landscape, and breathtaking sunsets. The house was built in a combination of the Venetian style with modern design elements such as expansive windows and luxury finishes. The villa was lovingly created, using the best European construction materials and finishes to create a spacious Venetian style home, with a breathtaking infinity pool and jacuzzi overlooking the sea. Villa Apollonia was furnished with high-end furniture, all Cocomat beds and linens, air-conditioning throughout, WiFi, Smart TV’s, Bluetooth speakers, BOSCH appliances and complete and fully-equipped kitchen amenities. It was designed to take full advantage of the surrounding views and abundant Greek summer light. The main entrance takes you into the main section of the house, consisting of an open plan living room, dining room and large fully-fitted white marble-topped kitchen. A large guest toilet and washbasin are also on the ground floor. The living and dining rooms open out, through wide glass doors, to a substantial furnished patio & entertainment area, overlooking the sea and gardens below. The outdoor area includes a built-in BBQ (charcoal) and outdoor kitchen including a marble bar, refrigerator, and sink. In front of the living and dining room is a large infinity pool with sun loungers, deck chairs, and umbrellas – all overlooking the sea. A private jacuzzi with amazing sea views completes the outdoor space. The main level also features one of the two master bedrooms including a luxurious bathroom that contains a stunning free-standing Apaiser marble tub and oversized custom tile shower. A large wall-mounted TV, WiFi and a fully equipped laundry room with washer and dryer complete the ground level. All windows have sea and island views. LEVEL TWO: After ascending the marble staircase, you will find a second living room that contains a white marble bar, second wine fridge, mini-fridge, and sink. The living room also has another wall-mounted TV and a Cocomat sleeper sofa that can comfortably sleep, two people. Lounge on a hillside terrace with sea views as the refreshing sea breeze is flowing all day long. In the evening air carries the scent of jasmine and honeysuckle. A serene atmosphere continues indoors with potted plants, elegant built-in furnishings, and tasteful decor in muted earth tones. Lighting and other details complete the serenity. The house has an airy relaxed ambiance, combining modern architecture with traditional elements. You can enjoy high quality materials, high ceilings, playful light and fine linen. A bluetooth speaker is available to enjoy your favourite music from your computer. Bedrooms have bathrooms en suite. A fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and espresso coffee machine is provided. A built stone BBQ is available for use. For the colder months, there is a pellet stove along with electric blankets that give it a warm feeling. You have access to our own home grown vegetable garden, according to the season of course. I am available at all times for any assistance required. Though the island of Ithaki is small, it has many hidden treasures. It is my pleasure to help you explore them. Any holiday related services, like rentals or bookings can be arranged upon request. Ithaki island is a quite and rather intimate place with lots of treasures to discover. The house is in the village of Ag. Saranta, a traditional settlement in the northern part, overlooking Afales Bay. The beach nearby with amazing water is 5 min drive away. The village of Stavros, with all amenities, and the fishing village of Frikes are both 1.5 kilometers away. Unfortunately, there is no public transport in Ithaki. Hiring a car is highly advisable Access to Ithaki is via Cephalonia, Patra, Astakos and in the summer months from Lefkas as well.
