Birdie Fell Cottage - Langdale

Beautifully restored Slater's Cottage in a village location with own parking. Birdie Fell Cottage is located in the quaint village of Chapel Stile, just 15 minutes from Ambleside in the heart of the Langdale Valley, one of the most beautiful and tranquil areas of the Lake District. There is a well stocked shop and excellent pub within walking distance. There are endless footpaths, hills, trails and even bouldering on your doorstep. The accommodation is of a very high standard and sleeps 4.

The Bedsit is attached to our beautiful Victorian family house, only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Kendal, hidden from sight within its own grounds, with a stunning garden. It has plenty of private parking and is only a short walk from the station - an ideal base for exploring the Lake District. The Bedsit is a private apartment, accessed through my costume workshop. We enjoy hosting visitors from all around the world, hoping that they will feel comfortable and welcome during their stay.

Weavers Cottage is a detached 17th century stone built barn at the head of the Ullswater valley in the central Lakes. The views are stunning with panoramic views of lakeland fells and over Brotherswater. The place is pet friendly and perfect for guests who love the outdoors. Classic walks straight from the door and secure storage available for mountain bikes and canoes. After a day in the fells, toast your toes by the wood burning stove or enjoy the sunshine in the private south facing garden.

HowBankAmbleside is a luxury house In the Ambleside conservation area, fully set up for a memorable stay and located two minutes from Ambleside's amenities. Tucked away in an elevated position next to Stock Ghyll Beck, with its sounds of cascading water, there are views to the Fells throughout. Our hot tub for 6 is under a slate roof for use in all weathers. There are many walks from the door so you can leave your car at the house during your stay. There is parking for 3 cars & an EV charger.

The cottage provides the perfect base to relax and explore the Lake District and all it has to offer, from Horse Riding to Hiking, Boat Trips, Cycling and many more activities. The cottage has a private parking space, EV charger, shared private jetty, and is ideally situated just a 15 minute walk from Windermere train station and centre where you will find an array of shops and traditional pubs.

Wren Cottage, lake access, pet-friendly

Next to pretty Torver beck and with lake frontage to the quiet western shore of Coniston Water, this is the perfect place for a 'get-away-from-it-all' break. Originally part of an old mill building, Wren is beautifully refurbished but retains lots of character. Surrounded by fantastic scenery on all sides you don't need to go far to enjoy the beauty of the Lakes. Stroll down to the lake to sit and unwind, walk up onto the Common for amazing views, or explore the lake and island by canoe.

Townfoot Byre, EV friendly

Townfoot Byre, Troutbeck is a beautiful bedroom suite in our 330 year old traditional Lakeland farmhouse. The house was built in 1691 and what is now Townfoot Byre would have originally housed animals. However, it has now been converted it into a charming and cosy bedroom suite with its own small kitchenette and bathroom. Spa, sauna, swimming pool and gym access at a local club is included, free with your stay. A 7Kw EV charger is available, if you're travelling in an electric vehicle.

Mill Moss Barn is a cosy country retreat located in the stunning Ullswater valley. With a traditional facade featuring local slate walls and roofing the barn dates back to 1860. Originally used to house dray horses, this fabulous barn has been tastefully converted to incorporate the traditional style of the building whilst providing a contemporary holiday home, a highlight being the large open plan space with striking glass balcony overlooking the unspoilt countryside and fells.
