Guest Suite in Character Bungalow - Walk to Town

Character on Clyde. We welcome you to enjoy the downstairs guest suite of our home with own private access. Includes: own parking & entrance, private bathroom, lounge with TV (with chrome cast, Sky TV (sport) and Netflix). Kitchenette is available, but not suitable for cooking full meals (No hotplate) . You will have sole use of this, however, at times we need to walk through this area. A great suite for a couples get away or up to 3 friends. Enjoy Napier City - 5 min walk to town.

Crabtree Cottage, featured in House and Garden January 2017, is the perfect getaway for couples wanting to escape to a super comfortable and stylish cottage. Nestled into the delightful seaside village of Te Awanga, it's a stones throw from the beach, cycle trails, world-class wineries and the Cape Kidnappers golf course. The cottage has all the charms of the original seaside bach but its fit-out is perfect for long summer days and nights and in the colder months as a warm and cosy retreat.

Whilst we cannot offer sea views we are only one street back from the beach so an easy walk if you wish to take a seaside stroll or bring along your surf casters. We also have the most beautiful cycle/walk tracks that will take you all the way to the city centre if you so wish. We are situated 10 from airport and 15 minutes to the city . We are also a very short stroll to the lovely crab farm winery. Plus snapper park camp ground is a short walk which offers eat in or take away meals.

So close to the village, yet set in the countryside there are lambs in Spring and apple trees next door. Eggs are laid by our own chooks, bread, muesli and preserves are homemade. We'll suggest places to visit and restaurants if you want to dine out. Cool off in the pool in summer or take an expertly led yoga class! Take a trip to Hastings or Napier or walk the miles of tracks in Te Mata Park. Ocean Beach is just 15 minutes away and the Sunday Farmers Market just 10!

Situated on a very special, peaceful, slice of paradise, on an apple orchard, on the northern outskirts of the village. Minutes from Hawkes Bay's amazing attractions. A twenty five minute drive to the Napier airport. Our swimming pool is situated behind the main house, 30 meters over the paddock.
